CHEM 112A ST: Chemistry in Our World
This is a survey course of the applications of chemistry in our daily lives. The course includes basic understanding of the periodic table of elements and then focuses on applications of chemistry to commerical products, medical devices, novel medicines, herbal supplements and applications of chemistry in the environment. No prerequisites for the course. Non-science majors, fulfills the Chemistry requirement for Communication Science & Disorders majors.
