SW 702 Soc Work Rsrch: Implementation/Analysis
Overview of the role and function of qualitative analyses in addressing research questions and testing hypotheses. Examines approaches to qualitative analysis and the logic behind the application of descriptive and inferential statistical analyses. Examines analytical techniques and the unbiased interpretation of results as they relate to issues of diversity, oppression, and populations at risk. Students learn to use statistical software for processing data and apply theoretical and methodological materials in a required research report. Prerequisite:
