BIOL 421L Biochemistry Laboratory

This course covers basic concepts in biochemistry, emphasizing the structure, reactivity, and dynamics of proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates. In addition, a brief overview of carbohydrate metabolism, including the electron transport system and oxidative phosphorylation processes, are presented. Laboratory component involves learning advanced analytical skills related to topics covered in lecture. Three hours lecture, three hours lab. Normall offered in Fall semester only.
