EDUC 498D Parental Communication
This course addresses issues in communication between parents and teachers of Early Childhood Education. It aims to help teachers (in training) increase their awareness of parental concerns and improve their communication skills as a service provider. It also affords students the opportunity to participate in group experiences, utilize peer resources and develop new communicative skills. Participants will be provided growth promoting activities which will enable them to improve lines of communication between teachers, parents and young children in various school related situations including diverse populations.
