NURS 250 Introduction to Nursing Concepts
This course assists the student to understand what it means to be a professional nurse and to understand nursing values, standards, and ethics. The nursing process as a means to foster the development of critical thinking is described. Evidence-based practice and cultural competence, as well as effective communication and collaboration among members of the health care team is stressed.
