NURS 456 Senior Practicum
The purpose of this course is to provide the student the opportunity to function as a contributing member of the interprofessional team. An opportunity is given to provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care to a caseload of patients with a focus on promoting positive patient outcomes using nursing knowledge and skills. Emphasis is placed on the demonstration of professional behaviors, communication that supports information exchange, collaboration, and the effective use of leadership skills.
