SPED 420 Universal Design for Learning

This course will examine the concept of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and address the practical application of UDL in the classroom to teach and reach all students through "hands-on"practice, including the use of technology. Students will demonstrate the ability to utilize evidence-based strategies in modifying and adapting general education curriculum for the special needs/diverse learner in a field placement, while completing a culminating Teacher Work Sample (TWS).
