SPED 520 Evidence Based Practices

Examination of evidence-based teaching practices for students with all abilities. Prepares teachers to assist children with all abilities achieve skills in academic and functional life domains. Emphasis is placed on the following: understanding and analysis of the relationship and organization of adaptations and modifications; differentiated instruction; inclusionary practices; instructional technology; and the concept of Universal Design for diverse learners. Culminating experience will result in a digital portfolio.
