PA 308 Introduction to the PA Profession
Introduction to the PA Profession will provide the student with an introduction to the profession of physician assistant, including its history, development, education, and current/future practice. The role of the PA within the healthcare system will be explored, as well as communication skills, patient education, and the need for lifelong professional development. Important issues, such as patient safety, professionalism, clinical ethics, and interprofessional education will also be explored.
