COMM 300 Digital Content Curation

This course covers content curation techniques for mass communicators. Students will practice gathering, organizing, and producing relevant information for mass audiences. Skills practiced may include, but not be limited to, interview preparation and techniques; project planning; archival research; public records requests; and crowdsourcing. The course places special emphasis on the legal and ethical issues related to content curation, including copyright and releases.
