EDUC 309F Elementary C & I: Math I
This course was designed using the National Common Core and current Pennsylvania Core (PSSA) PreK-4 standards and PA Early Learning Standards, with emphasis on developmentally appropriate curriculum, constructivist/active approaches to learning, and collaborative discourse. The course models extensive use of manipulative and computer resources, sensitivity to the reasoning behind mathematical answers, and cooperative formats which link mathematical thinking to human life.
