PSYC 451 Psychology Field Placement
In this service-learning course, students will volunteer with an agency, organization, or other work setting in the community in order to gain experience in a professional environment. Reflective course components will increase students' understanding of their skills, interests, values, and optimal work environments, thereby helping them to: 1) further conceptualize their career path, 2) develop skills and knowledge for their future career, 3) enhance their ability to communicate these understandings to others, such as potential employers, and 4) critically-evaluate the connections between academic and real-world experiences.
