EDUC 556 Mental Health and Trauma Informed Care
This three-credit course is designed to address the development, implementation, and monitoring of effectives mental health and trauma informed care strategies to offset the effect of trauma in the lives of PK-12 students. Emphasis is placed on strategies such as restorative practices, strengthening student-teacher relationships, designing a safe classroom space for all students, and encouraging pro-social behaviors.
