ND 565 Supervised Practice: Community Nutrition

In-depth experiential course emphasizing various public and private resources for the delivery of nutrition education information to all stages of the life cycle. (Prerequisite: admission to DI.) The course's curriculum, which is translated into goals and objectives in the Moodle courses, is consistent with the mission of the program. The curriculum includes all the learning outcomes with a concentration of health promotion and wellness which will provide the knowledge, skills, and values required not only for successful entry into today’s job market as competent entry level dietitians, but also for the flexibility to change roles and to develop skills needed for the future specializations which the students wish to pursue
