ARCH 225 History and Theory of Architecture III

The third in a series of three interrelated courses, this course examines global architectural history and theory from the beginning of 20th century (c. 1900 CE) to the present through built projects, drawings, and theoretical texts. The course examines architecture in relation to the historical, socio-cultural, political, aesthetics, technological and philosophical forces at work and culminates by discussing the state of the discipline in our contemporary times.
