SW 971 Ethical Issues in Social Work Practice
This course has been designed to foster sensitivity to ethical concerns and to provide knowledge and experience in ethical decision-making. Students will become familiar with the philosophical base of Social Work ethics and the professional Code of Ethics.Ethical principles and models of ethicaldecision-making grounded by critical thinkingwill be presented in relation to case materials reflecting a variety of issues, levels of practice, a diversity of populations, and social justice concerns.
