ART 480 Intro to Expressive Arts Therapy

This course offers the student instruction in models of expressive arts therapies, including the visual arts, dance/movement, storytelling, music and the integration of various art modalities. The course is primarily experiential in nature, enabling the students to learn through active engagement and high impact practices in the arts therapies. Different philosophical perspectives and ways of working are presented in order to foster the development of the student's critical thinking about applications of the expressive arts therapies in their chosen field of study.
