RST 217 Introduction to Asian Religions

A study of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism - their rituals, texts, worldviews, ethics, and institutional structures and how life is experienced by their practitioners. The course will also examine Asia's diverse religious context including one or more of the Jain, Sikh, Shinto, Confucian, or Islamic traditions.
