ATES 470 Pathology of Athletic Injuries

The athletic training student will learn the nature and causes of disease and how disease affects the athlete. The effects of disease on the functions of tendons, liga?ments, muscles, bones, the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, and on athletic performance will be presented. Prerequisite: permission of ATEP Program Director and junior or senior class standing. Offered spring semester.
