EDUC 1052 Personnel Leadership in Schools
This course is designed to aid in the development of the skills needed for effective human resource leadership in the area of recruitment, hiring, and for the retaining of faculty and staff. The course emphasizes the development of positive and productive relationships among faculty, students, and the community. Communication and ethical decision-making skills are emphasized. The class uses a blend of text-based analysis, case study, and application of theory to personnel leadership/human management and ethical decision-making models in educational administration. Sample human resources forms and policies will be presented and discussed.
