PSYC 660Q ST: Prolonged Exposure Therapy
This course is an evidence-based therapy receiving APA's highest endorsement as a first-line trauma treatment. Students will learn about the key components of PE, including providing psychoeducation about common reactions and processes related to trauma, imaginal exposure, in-vivo exposure, breath training, and subsequent processing of emotions and thoughts related to trauma.
