CSD 275 Research in CSD
This course introduces students to how research is conducted in the field of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). Students will learn what research involves, why it is important, and how it informs clinical practice. We will break down the main parts of a research article-introduction, methods, results, and discussion by practicing reading and analyzing research articles without getting overwhelmed by technical details. The course will also introduce students to basic applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in CSD. Additionally, we will explore how AI is being used in clinical practice.
