RST 240 Sprt/Ntre: Rlgs Dmnsns of Envr

The world's religions offer a variety of models of relationship between human beings and the Divine, but how do these models translate into everyday relationships with the natural world? This course will examine the intersection of the world's religions with their local ecologies as well as their developing response to modern and contemporary environmental degradation, science, activism, and social justice. Other topics will include deep ecology, nature and gender, and spiritualities of resistance.
