Program Requirements for Joint Minors (18 credits)
The joint minor in Philosophy and Religious Studies offers students who are not majoring in one of these fields the opportunity to pursue an interdisciplinary program of study that explores questions of truth, goodness, beauty, justice, and the common good.
The required courses for the joint minor are as follows:
- PHIL 113 Introduction to Philosophy (3 credits)
- RST 112 Modern Belief (3 credits)
- One integrative course (either PHIL 312 Philosophy of Religion or RST 212 Theology and Philosophy) (3 credits)
- One PHIL course on critical thinking or ethics (3 credits)
- One RST course on the Bible or ethics (3 credits)
- One PHIL or RST elective (3 credits)
