Program Requirements (48 credits)
Students in the 3D (sculpture/ceramics) track take courses that stress a high level of creativity and innovation. This program is a self-directed degree that prepares students to be successful in the contemporary art economy. Technical areas to which students can be exposed include modeling, carving, forging, fabrication, mold making, bronze/aluminum/glass casting, production pottery, glaze chemistry, electric/gas/raku firing techniques and slipcasting. Students also have access to a comprehensive fibers studio including papermaking and weaving.
