The baccalaureate program (B.A.) in Art Therapy offers students an opportunity to participate in a pre-professional art therapy education. Studio art courses are combined with psychology and social science courses to create a blended curriculum that fully prepares students for entrance to graduate level studies in Art Therapy.

Undergraduate art therapy students interested in pursuing their graduate degree at Marywood University have the opportunity to apply for Advanced Standing.
The Advanced Standing requirements are as follows:
- Successful completion of ART 399, ART 482, ART 483 & ART 484
- Successful completion of PSYC 211, PSYC 251 & PSYC 431
- 90, or more, credits with a 3.0, or higher, GPA
- Approval from the Director of Art Therapy
