ART 399MM ST: Introduction to Art Therapy
This course is designed to orient students to the profession of art therapy. Students will gain knowledge of the foundational historical, theoretical and pragmatic components of the profession of art therapy. These concepts will be explored through lecture, discussion, and art making experiences. Students will be asked to reflect on diverse theoretical perspectives on the practice of the profession to begin developing a personal art therapy philosophy.
