ART 399 St: Art of Islamic Spain
A survey of the art and architecture of Islamic Spain from the arrival of the Moors in 711 to their expulsion in 1492. Includes an examination of the religions, cultures and history of the period and its influence on the development of Spanish culture. This course includes a Spring Break trip to Spain, which is mandatory for all students taking this class.
