EDUC 545 Administrative Theory for School Leaders
This course explores the nature of administrative and leadership theory within the current context of school administration in the 21st Century. It is a foundational course for graduate students who are studying to be school principals, administrative supervisors, and/or superintendents in both public and/or private schools. It is a core requirement for state certification in the educational leadership programs. The course identifies the administrative responsibilities of a school leader in the 21st Century and studies an array of classical and modern leadership, ethical and change theories, and the application of different theoretical approaches to administrative decision-making.
