EDUC 549 Law and the School
This course is an introduction to school law for educational leaders and a core requirement of the principal, supervisor, and superintendent programs. It seeks to provide an overview of basic principles of law in areas particularly vital to the effective management and operation of schools. Case law, major court decisions, and policy implications that impact every day administrative planning and decision making are stressed. Legal issues affecting both public and private schools are included.
