EDUC 613 Dynamics of Leadership and Change
This course will explore key concepts and emergent trends in data and analytics that drive the decision-making process in school leadership. Emphasizing the role of data in improving student outcomes, enhancing school operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, the course will cover topics such as data-driven leadership, diagnostic and predictive analytics, and the ethical use of data in the school setting. Using established theoretical frameworks, common practical applications, and interactive simulations to equip students with the skills necessary to create lasting change and improve student achievement outcomes in various school leadership positions. Students will be expected to apply learned theory and analysis skills to a prescribed comprehensive planning model. Prior coursework in data analysis is not required.
