Writing

One course in Rhetoric (3)

One Upper-Level Writing from ENGL 400-499 (3)

One course in grammar and Structure (3)

ENGL 400	Structure of Linguistics	3
ENGL 420	Editing and Style	3

Select one course between ENGL 400 and ENGL 420.

Literature

Literature Histories (16)

At least one course from this category should be American Literature (350-359) and
at least one should be British Literature (360-369)

Two courses: Literature before 1800 (6)

Two courses: Literature after 1800 (6)

Other Literature

Two courses: Genre and Theme (6)

One course: Windows and Mirrors (3)

Major Electives, 1 course from ENGL 310-399 (3)
