EDUC 1000 Introduction to Doctoral Research in Education
This course introduces doctoral students in education to the application of scientific methods of research to the field of Education through the examination of research design and Problems of Practice (PoP). It is intended to prepare EdD students for further study of quantitative, qualitative, and mix-methods research in Education, and to assist them in the formation of a research proposal that has the potential to improve understanding, experience, and outcomes in educational settings.
