PA 363 Professional Practice

Professional Practice explores contemporary issues in healthcare with a focus on current hiring trends, licensing, certifcation, and liability. Students examine many facets of healthcare administration, including organization, professional roles, billing and exploring the health care team. In addition, students explore ethical issues in the context of human values and conduct as they relate to the health sciences and allied health fields. The research methods section of this course is designed as an introduction to the utility, interpretation and application of medical research methods.
