PA 547 Critical Care Medicine
Critical Care Medicine is designed to give the physician assistant student basic knowledge of intensive care (ICU) medicine. Students gain the skills needed to work safely in the critical care unit as well as the knowledge needed o assess and manage critically ill patients. Emphasis is on preparation for clinical rotations as well as presenting information for PANCE testing, relating to the pathophysiological disease states commonly seen in critical care medicine.
