PA 552 Emergency Medicine

Emergency Medicine is intended to familiarize the student with common conditions and injuries seen in the Emergency Department. The focus is on recognition, evaluation, initial stabilization and treatment of the patient with potential life-threatening or limb-threatening emergency conditions. The course follows a systems-based schedule with the addition of topics specific to emergency medicine.
